The lab geeks at Pint Defiance have been busy working on a unified theory of beer, searching for the deliciousness boson and we are ready to put these equations to the test. But we need some volunteers to experiment on. Will combining the correct elements result in a plasma of perfection, or will it cause an explosion of ecstasy?

Saturday, Oct. 18th, from 3p to 6p, we will be hosting our latest Beer Float Social with a twist: PUMPKIN BEERS!

Pike Brewing Co. 25th Anniversary Party, Thurs. Oct. 16th, 5p-7p

It is difficult to imagine the landscape of Washington beer culture without Pike Brewing Co. As Kendall Jones writes in his Washington Beer Blog, “The founders of Pike Brewing (Charles and Rose Ann Finkel) are omnipresent ambassadors of craft beer and for 25 years the tireless two have represented Seattle at beer festivals, brewers conferences, charity fundraisers, and countless other special events.” Pike has spun off numerous brewmasters who have gone on to open their own breweries. The beer scene today would look quite different without them.

Brewer’s Night with Top Run Brewing Co., Thurs. Oct. 9th, 5pm-7pm

Founded by a couple of local firefighters, Top Rung Brewing has been bringing quality craft beer to Lacy and surrounding areas since 2010. Splitting their time between being full-time firefighters and full-time brewers, Casey and Jason, make a wide range of great beers.

Join us on Thurs. Oct. 9th, from 5pm to 7pm as we welcome the Top Rung crew for a night of awesome ales and fun. Meet the brewers and get an opportunity to try their labor of love. Stay tuned for a full tap lineup.

Double Mountain Fresh Hop Fest, Wed. Oct. 1st, 5p to 7p

Living in the PNW as we do, we are uniquely lucky to be in such close proximity to one of the largest hop growing regions in the world. During harvest time, regional brewers take the opportunity to utilize hops straight off the bine—undried and unpelletized. And no brewery tackles this concept with quite the zeal that Double Mountain does. Their two fresh hop beers, Killer Red and Killer Green, are some of the most anticipated every season, and this year Pint Defiance is helping to debut this year’s batch.
