Pike Brewing Co. 25th Anniversary Party, Thurs. Oct. 16th, 5p-7p

It is difficult to imagine the landscape of Washington beer culture without Pike Brewing Co. As Kendall Jones writes in his Washington Beer Blog, “The founders of Pike Brewing (Charles and Rose Ann Finkel) are omnipresent ambassadors of craft beer and for 25 years the tireless two have represented Seattle at beer festivals, brewers conferences, charity fundraisers, and countless other special events.” Pike has spun off numerous brewmasters who have gone on to open their own breweries. The beer scene today would look quite different without them.

This month marks the 25^th Anniversary of Pike, and Pint Defiance wants to celebrate. Join us Thursday, Oct. 16^th, from 5p to 7p, to wish the original Seattle craft brewery a happy birthday. Pike Crew will be on hand to talk shop, tell stories, and help us raffle off some schwag. We will also have some very special draft releases, including Wood-Aged Kilt Lifter, Entire Wood-Aged Imperial Stout, Reunion Imperial Pale (a collaboration beer between all eleven former Pike Brewmasters), Wolf of the Woods Fresh Hop, and Harlot’s Harvest Pumpkin Ale. Pike’s having a birthday, and you’re the one getting all the gifts!
