We are seeing a sea change in the tastes of American beer drinkers, especially those of us on the West Coast. Sours of all sorts have been churning out of fermenters and barrels from breweries of all sizes. Berliner-Weisse, Gose, Flanders, Lambic, Oud Bruin; the list gets bigger everyday. And new breweries are popping up specializing solely in sours (bless ‘em!).

It’s no secret that we at Pint Defiance are huge fans of sour beers, and we’ve been grabbing as many kegs as we can. To be honest, our eyes are bigger than our cooler and we are running out of space again. So we are hosting our 2

Nestled on the Oregon Coast between Tillamook and Lincoln City, Pelican Brewing has quietly churning out award-winning beers for 16 years. Built right on the coast with an unobstructed view of the Pacific, their taproom and restaurant focuses on quality both in the beer and the cuisine. With their medal count too long to list, they’ve built a fervent fanbase and now we are happy to be hosting them for our latest Brewer’s Night.

HEY YOU GUYS! It has been far too long since our last Brewer's Night. So to reward your patience, we're bringing in those beer Goonies from Astoria, Fort George. We are excited to host members of the brewery team as we pour pints of special beers that are more limited edition than your red Sloth suspenders: Bourbon Barrel Vortex IPA and Spruce Budd Pale. Of course we'll be giving away brewery schwag, and exchanging our favorite Goonies quotes.
