Brewer’s Night with New Belgium, Wed. Apr. 29th, 5p-7p

on Thu, 04/23/2015 - 03:13

Very few American breweries have done more to expand the modern beer drinker’s palate than New Belgium. With the help of some legends of the Belgium beer scene, they were one of the first to invest in a true foeder (oak fermentation vat) program, and introduced the world to one of the first American Flanders-style sours, La Folie. They haven’t stopped experimenting over all these years, releasing new and innovative brews under their Lips of Faith label.

Join us Wednesday, April 29th, from 5 to 7pm, as we help celebrate New Belgium’s weighty contributions to the wealth of craft beer available today. Brewer Andy Mitchell will be here to share a pint of their awesome brews with you. We will also be tapping up an extremely rare release from the brewery’s Cache la Foeder Wood Cellar Series: Oscar Worthy Coffee. This “dry-beaned” sour started life as NBB Love Oscar Sour Brown, then was aged on 50lbs of fresh roasted Bean Cycle. Jump on the opportunity because you may never see this brew on tap around here again. We will also have Le Terroir Dry-Hopped Sour, Salted Belgian Chocolate Stout, Skinny Dip Summer Ale, and Ranger IPA on draft. Join us for a night of great beer, prizes, and great fun.
