In all the excitement and fun events the changing seasons bring, one of our most beloved traditions is the pairing of craft beer and artisanal, locally-made ice cream. That’s right, it is time again for our latest Beer Float Social!
 

Saturday, Oct. 17th, from 3p to 6p, we will be hosting our friends from Tacoma’s very own Ice Cream Social, who will be slinging scoops of their latest creations. And to pair, we’ll be tapping up some seasonally appropriate pumpkin and fall brews, including (but not limited to) releases from Elysian, D's Wicked Cider, Reuben's Brews, and Epic Brewing Company.

Few new breweries that opened within the last three years have made a splash and built a rabid fanbase like Moxie, Washington’s Bale Breaker Brewing Co. Built on the instant fame of their hoppy beers like Top Cutter IPA, this upstart is already establishing themselves as a primetime player in the craft beer scene.

Built right in the middle of a hop farm and owned in part by hop farmers, it is no surprise that they know how to brew hoppy beers, especially fresh hop brews. So we are throwing a party for the South Sound release of Bal Breaker’s very fresh and very rare Fresh Hop IPA. Join us

Here at Pint Defiance we’re getting a head start on the yearly blowout that is the end of Oktoberfest. Join us Saturday, Sept. 26th for a German bier-nanza featuring authentic German brews from the famous Spaten. Dust off your Dirndl and Lederhosen, and brush up on your Deutsch because starting at 1pm, we’ll be running “keep the glass" specials, so get in here quick because this event only comes around once a year.
