It is difficult to imagine the landscape of Washington beer culture without Pike Brewing Co. As Kendall Jones writes in his Washington Beer Blog, “The founders of Pike Brewing (Charles and Rose Ann Finkel) are omnipresent ambassadors of craft beer and for 25 years the tireless two have represented Seattle at beer festivals, brewers conferences, charity fundraisers, and countless other special events.” Pike has spun off numerous brewmasters who have gone on to open their own breweries. The beer scene today would look quite different without them.

Pint Defiance has a birthday coming up, and it’s been a whirlwind 2 years. We’ve had a lot of fun making friends and sharing our love of beer.  We are holding our 2^nd anniversary party on Sept. 13^th and we want to celebrate with the people who got us here: you! An all-day festivity is in the works, with the central theme being…what else?... great beer!
