Since it began in 2012, pFriem Family Brewers has been a darling of the craft beer scene in their home of Hood River and the surrounding Pacific Northwest. Built on the idea that work, life, passion, and family can all be tightly integrated, their beers are personal and draw influences from both Belgium and the Northwest. It is difficult not to be superfluous about pFriem once you’ve tried their beer.

Join us Wednesday, November 18th, from 5pm to 7pm as we host the pFriem Family for a night of great beers and fun.

Craft beer has become a community activity. With breweries and taprooms opening up in every nook and cranny of Washington, breweries that embrace their neighbors get rabid support back tenfold. A recent example of this has been Bainbridge Island Brewing Company. Started by a father-son team in 2012, it quickly became a hit with the islanders. Serving up authentic takes on classic craft beer styles, the brewery has made a name for themselves with consistent high-quality brew inspired by island landmarks.

July has already been an action-packed month for us here at Pint Defiance. And in the interest of keeping  things interesting, we are continuing our Brewer’s Night series momentum with Ellensburg’s very own Iron Horse Brewery. Started in 2005, it quickly gained notoriety with its ubiquitous Quilter’s Irish Death Black Ale, and It has continued to grow at an incredible pace.
