Snipes Mountain Bottle Release, Tues. Feb 4th, 5p to 7p

on Fri, 01/31/2014 - 00:17
Join us for a very special evening with Snipes Mountain Brewery as we host the release of some very special (read: limited) beers: Terror in the Rye, Terror in the Wood, and Rosa Reserve.

Come in from 5p to 7p on Tues Feb. 4th for this unique opportunity. Chad Roberts, Snipes Mtn. Head Brewer, will be in attendance to give you an chance to sample his beers, in addition we will have two very rare draft releases from the brewery, O Hopfenbaum Pine IPA and Nana Foster Hefeweizen.

For the beer nerds, here are the stats for the bottle releases:
Terror in the Rye
17 different malts of 5 grains, with Summit, Palisade and Hersbrucker hops then fermented with French Saison yeast.  Finishing additions of molasses, pears and blueberries round out this French Provincial Stout.
75% aged in Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey Barrels
10 % ABV                           50 BU

Terror in the Wood
(2012 Terror) 13 different malts of 5 grains, with Summit, Palisade and Strisslespalt hops then fermented with French Saison yeast. Finishing additions of molasses, local honey, apples and blackberries round out this French Provincial Stout.

(2013 Terror) 17 different malts of 5 grains, with Summit, Palisade and Hersbrucker hops then fermented with French Saison yeast. Finishing additions of molasses, pears and blueberries round out this French Provincial Stout.

Roza Reserve
After a seven year absence, original recipe Roza Barleywine has been brewed and bottled again. To celebrate its return, we aged it for 9 months in Rittenhouse rye Whisky barrels. Smooth, yet rich and boozy, and finished with a subtle whirlpool addition of woodruff.
