For the fourth year in a row, Astoria's Fort George Brewing has tapped the most uncurable hop heads they know to collaborate on an epic IPA. Jeremy Tofte of Melvin Brewing and Tyler Brown of Barley Brown's Brewery brought their best hop game, and with the skills of Fort George's Chris Nemlowill, formed like Voltron to brew a kick-ass beer. The result is an unfiltered brew, pale in appearance, combining a balanced juicy body, superb lacing, and every citrus fruit aroma you can imagine.

Brewer's Night with Stone, Wed. June 8th, 5-7p

There are Brewer's Nights and then there are BREWER'S NIGHTS. Our yearly blowout with Stone Brewing has become a bit of a tradition. Founded in 1996 by Greg Koch and Steve Wagner in San Marcos, CA, the famous brewery has become almost synonymous with the craft brewing movement. Makers of some of the most highly sought-after beers, they are not afraid to experiment or break boundaries, or break our maximum occupany record.

Join us, Wednesday, June 8th, from 5pm to 7pm as we embrace our inner gargoyles.

We are just about a month away from the official start of summer, but we can’t wait to bring back one one of our most beloved traditions: the Beer Float Social! We can’t think of a better way to ring in another beautiful Washington Summer than pairing craft beer and artisanal, locally-made ice cream from our friends at Ice Cream Social.

Saturday, May 28th, from 3p to 6p, we will be hosting our friends from Tacoma’s very own Ice Cream Social, who will be slinging scoops of their latest creations. And to pair, we’ll be tapping up some seasonally appropriate brews.

Not many non-coastal IPAs get the sort of attention that Uinta’s Hop Nosh does, which is a testament to its delicious staying power. Which is why it is a cause for celebration when a new variant on the bright and hoppy brew comes out. 

May the 4th be with Uinta for this May 4th as we help launch the brand new fresh Tangerine Hop Nosh IPA! In addition of cans and draft available of the new brew, we will also be pouring some favorites from their catalog including Stompin’ Grounds Coffee Stout, Uinta Pale, and Gin-Barrel Aged Cucumber Farmhouse.

We at Pint Defiance want to reclaim this season for the beers of a darker lineage: the roasty, the boozy, the aged. So we are bringing together a night of rare, special, and unique stouts we’ve been squirreling away in our cellar, with vintages that will make you exclaim “IT’S A STOUT TIME!”

Join us Wednesday, April 27th, starting at 5pm as we host a springtime celebration of a darker persuasion.
