Brewer’s Night with Victory Brewing, July 8th, 5p-7p

on Thu, 07/02/2015 - 04:31

Founded in 1996 by Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski in an old Pepperidge Farm bakery, Victory has grown considerably and evolved well outside the traditional small market of Downingtown, PA. With a focus on quality and consistency, their beers have become the archetype of East Coast brewing styles, yet have found a foothold with beer drinkers on the West Coast.

Join us Wednesday, July 8th, from 5pm to 7pm as we welcome the Victory Brewing Crew into Pint Defiance for our latest installment of our Brewer’s Nights.

Fremont Session Pale Ale Release Party, Thurs, July 2nd, 5p-7p

on Fri, 06/26/2015 - 21:48

The most ubiquitous of Seattle breweries, Fremont Brewing has set the standard for quality and consistency in our little beer hamlet of the Pacific Northwest. Which is why the announcement for a new year-round beer is such a big deal. Based on the recipe for the 5th Annual (2014) Seattle Beer Week Pale Ale, Fremont’s new Session Pale is dedicated to you, the Craft Beer Fan, for embracing adventure, creativity, facial hair, and the skilled craft people of our industry above all.

And Pint Defiance is proud to host the South Sound launch of this new brew.

Pint Defiance 2nd Annual Pucker Party, June 24th at 5pm

on Thu, 06/18/2015 - 05:16

We are seeing a sea change in the tastes of American beer drinkers, especially those of us on the West Coast. Sours of all sorts have been churning out of fermenters and barrels from breweries of all sizes. Berliner-Weisse, Gose, Flanders, Lambic, Oud Bruin; the list gets bigger everyday. And new breweries are popping up specializing solely in sours (bless ‘em!).

It’s no secret that we at Pint Defiance are huge fans of sour beers, and we’ve been grabbing as many kegs as we can. To be honest, our eyes are bigger than our cooler and we are running out of space again. So we are hosting our 2

Brewer’s Night with Lompoc, Wed. Jun. 10th, 5p-7p

on Wed, 06/03/2015 - 21:32

One of Portland’s most storied neighborhood breweries, The Old Lompoc Brewery (as it was formerly known) began producing handcrafted ales and lagers in December 1996. In May 2000, it was purchased and reopened – by original brewer Jerry Fechter – as The New Old Lompoc. Now with five locations throughout the city, they haven’t lost their neighborhood taproom feel or their dedication to crafting high-quality brews.

For this latest Brewer’s Night, join us Wednesday, June 10th, from 5p to 7p, as we host Head Brewer Bryan Keilty and Director of Sales Matt Kohnke and bring a bit of Portland’s

Brewer’s Night with Black Raven, Wed. May 27th, 5p to 7p

on Thu, 05/21/2015 - 00:46

Our friends at Black raven Brewing have built themselves a reputation of crafting quality ales, no matter the style or the unusual ingredients (catnip, anyone?). With new beers rolling off the line almost monthly, it’s hard to keep up with this innovative and restless brewery. Which is why we’ve invited them for our latest installment of our popular Brewer’s Nights. We’ve put together an awesome lineup of some of their newest, freshest beers and some old favorites for you to try all in one place.

Come by Wednesday, May 27th, from 5pm to 7pm, and hang with the flock from the brewery and
